Madden, Karen

An active pianist and teacher, Karen Madden serves as piano faculty at Fresno Pacific University,
and directs the Piano Program of Fresno Pacific’s Summer Music Camp (4th-12th grade). Her
private studio of two decades teaches dedicated students ages four to adult and is located in
northeast Clovis (93619).
Her studio goal is to help every student find musical enjoyment and personal excellence in
piano through well-rounded, enthusiastic study of technique, theory, ear-training, and
repertoire. Certificate of MeritTM is offered, and students are encouraged to perform regularly in
MTAC events with both solo and duet/duo/collaborative repertoire.
Karen Madden holds graduate and undergraduate degrees in Piano Performance and is an
alumna of the Certificate of MeritTM program. She has appeared locally on KVPR’s Young Artists
Spotlight, FPU’s Pacific Artists Series (chamber music; duo piano), and solo and collaborative
performances in Europe and the United States.
