Currently only for pianists, there are 3 divisions: Junior Division (school grades 4-6) Intermediate Division (school grades 7-9) and Senior Division (school grades 10-12)

Students perform 2 memorized selections for a panel of two judges. Cash prizes may be awarded for first and second place in each division at the discretion of the judges.​
